Problem Description

CVS: mediaportal-cvs-03-18-2006

The frequency offset for Australian DVB-T is incorrect in DVBT.XML. Mediaportal ships with offset="125". With this offset in Melbourne all TV stations are detected during a channel scan, however channel 7 fail to work when selected (balnk screen). Changing to offset="0" resolves the problem, ie;

<country name="Australia - All Regions" offset="125">

change to;

<country name="Australia - All Regions" offset="0">

    I think that the offset value of 125 is correct - the problem is that MediaPortal doesn't capture the correct centre frequency. See this post which refers to the same problem.

    Some of our channels have a centre frequency of xxx,500 and some have a centre frequency of xxx,625 - but MediaPortal sometimes (it depends upon the particular DVB-T card) chooses xxx,625 for all the channels.
