Automatic Updates of databases (1 Viewer)

I would like to see the option to have MP automatically scan for new media to place in their proper DBs periodically. Meedio had this ability with it's media library. You could set it up to scan every x minutes or once a day at a certain time.

The reason for this would be so you don't have to rescan whenever a new media item is added. I am constantly adding TV shows, music and movies and I dont like needing to manually scan for them. Ideally it would automatically scan for new items every night so anything added the day be fore would show up the following day.

I don't know if this is planned in the next release, but I thought I would mention it.

Just to mention: for the music database you can use the music share watcher. Available as MP plugin (for dedicated HTPC's and as seperate prog (to run in your icon tray.) Look for it in the repository.
