I am using MP 0.2.3 RC1.
In the settings for audio CD I have "Autplay, never ask" but when I insert a audio CD it asks me if I want to start the CD. If I answer yes it brings me to the CD playlist and I manually have to start a track. This is not what I call autoplay :)

    Hi Johan,

    It is working for me.
Please attach your mediaportal.log file, make sure the log level in configuration.exe->General is set to debug.

    Regards,

Ok I have attached 2 log files.

One is where I have the setting "Don't Autoplay, Never ask" and the other is
    "Autoplay, Never ask".

    The procedure is as follows:
    Start up MP
    Insert audio CD
A window pops up asking me if I want to play the inserted CD and I answer Yes which brings me to the playlist of the CD. I need to manually start a track.

I get the same result no matter which setting I have.

Maybe my configuration file is screwed up in some way??

    Hi Johan,

It seems that the CD you insert is not detected as an audio CD.
Is it a 'special' CD with copy protection or something like that?
Have you tried it with multiple CDs and do they all give the same result?

    Regards,
    Jan

Your were actually right! I did not even think of this since MP tells me that an audio cd is inserted! :)

Anyway I tried an original CD without any protection and it autostarted. But a homeburned CD isn't working without a yes/no answer.

Why is it like this? What is it that MP handles different between a homemade and orignial CD?

You tell us as my home made CD's work fine so it must be the way you're recording your discs making MP think this way...

Interesting. I am using Nero. Usually Express mode to make audio CD. I guess I have to test if I can change some setting or anything next time I burn audio CD.
