Summary:
When inserting a CD with video files, it is detected correctly, but the only option is to open the CD in My Videos. I would like it to autoplay if it contains only one video file.
Area:
Auto-Play
Description:
I'm sure many people have CD's with only one .avi file on it, or maybe with one .avi and one .srt/.sub. (I know I do). When inserting such a CD, it would be great if it would start playing immediately, like a DVD does. The problem I guess would be that we have to scan the entire content of the disc to determine that there is only one video file and that could be a performance hit. If this really is a problem, we could consider only providing this function for media containing less than a predefined number of files.
Anyone with me?
