Autoplaying .iso files? (1 Viewer)

When playing ISO files in Mediaportal, I click on them, which auto-mounts them in Daemon Tools, and then I need to manually go to Play DVD. Is there any way for the ISO file to automatically play without me having to go to Play DVD?

I tried searching the forums, but was unable to find a thread in which someone gave instructions that successfully resolved this for me.

In DVD config, Autoplay DVD is set to "Autoplay, never ask".
In General>Daemon Tools config, "Automount ISO files using Daemon Tools" is enabled. My copy of Daemon Tools is selected, and "Ask before playing .iso/.bin files" is unchecked.

Thanks in advance for any help. I really love this program, and have built an HTPC around it and am in the lengthy process of transferring my extensive video collection (maybe 500 cds and dvds) to this HTPC and adding it to my Mediaportal database.

    No problems here, just to select the ISO in My Videos.

    Make sure that Windows is not autoplaying the DVD, set under properties->autoplay for the deamon tools DVD drive in Explorer. Windows tends to autoplay DVDs using WMP.

    Disable 'secure mode' under options in Deamon Tools, otherwise Deamon Tools asks if the ISO should be mounted.

    I don't have any problems with my ISOs. One thing that I know is configured differently on mine from yours is that my autoplay is set to "don't autoplay, never ask".

    Like JBravo said, I know I have Windows autoplay turned off, as well.

    Autoplay is disabled for the daemon tools drive, as well as the physical optical drive as well. When I insert a DVD, no action is taken by windows.
    Secure mode is disabled in daemon tools.
    My version of daemon tools is daemon tools lite 4.30.3
    In Mediaportal>DVD, I've tried setting Autoplay DVD to "don't autoplay, never ask" but that doesn't fix it.

    Oh boy, don't I feel silly. I installed Daemon Tools 4.09. I had been trying to get Daemon Tools to use drive E:, and my Daemon Tools drive is actually drive F:. I set it to F:, and now all the iso files play back instantly. duh!
    :oops::sorry::D

    We're having the same issue as you were Gaius, however our daemon tool drive letters are setup correctly. We have also tried all the other suggestions in this thread but can't it to work. The only difference on our system is that we're using DT v4.12 vs v4.09 that you're using. Did you change your version of DT during your attempts to fix your issue?

    Thanks.

    Yes, I changed to Daemon Tools 4.09 after other versions of DT didn't work.
