    Synopsis::

    Tonight I patched up to the latest available SVN and also decided to remove tv and radio channels in order to run a full re-scan. Then restarted the system and when the system came back up ran the GUI setup wizard. It detects the tv card, but then when I select 'UK - All Regions' it crashes immediately. I've included the 'error.log' file for information.

    A bit of an update... I don't have the MP PC in front of me, so some of the terminology might be incorrect.

    I restored my original RC4 installation and went through the first time setup. The card was detected and autoscan worked fine. I then applied the latest SVN again and copied my 'mediaportal.xml' from the previous installation (i.e. the one in my previous post). I ran MP's configuration program, and when I clicked on the 'capture cards' section it told me I had to reconfigure my card. It was deleted automatically and I clicked 'Add'. After a long time I got the message 'cannot create graph', but it had found the card. I changed the priority to 10 and changed the location of the recorded files. I didn't bother trying the autotune cause after that 'cannot create graph' message it would have been guaranteed to fail, and I already had my channels from the native RC4 version. I clicked 'OK' twice to save my configuration and close MP's configuration program. I then started MP itself, and needless to say 'My TV' didn't work, 'failed to create graph', or something like that. I restarted the PC and all was fine again after that.

    There obviously is an issue with the later SVN builds (original RC4 is OK) and support for my DVB-t card, and maybe other cards as well. I'm willing to do further testing for the MP developers if required, the ball is now in their court.
