Is anyone running with an X-Plosion soundcard?
What I need to know is whether the SPDIF IO connector on the actual card will output SPDIF the same as the optical/coax? It says in the little documation there is that this is for adding an external spdif panel.
The reason I ask is that I am planning on using HDMI output to a Samsung A/V. The graphics card has functionality to pass SPDIF from a SPDIF IO through the HDMI. That means only one cable for all A/V , four in all (TV, Power, HDMI, keyboard/mouse).
Has any one tried this or similar with any degree of success?
