Yesterday I bought my new USB2.0 TV Tuner and was not too impressed with the software so I was recommended to use Media Portal and it looks fantastic and really want to use it. But when ever I go to My TV I get a error saying "Failed to start TV - Unable to connect audio pin" and when ever I press on TV On button I get more errors like "Failed to start TV - Unable to connect MPG2 pin"...

Also my TVGuide is always empty and doesn't show anything.

Can anyone help me out?

First thing you need to do is supply the testers with the log files, you can find them in the MP directory (mostly under Program Files) and then you find the folder "log"

For the TVguide you need to read the WIKI on how to set it up...

Which log file should I upload?

Because I don't know which log file is needed I have uploaded them all to this address...

I too have one of these tuners and have managed to get the first tuner to work with RC2. I dont think the analog pat of the tuner is working and the radio certainly is not recognised.

I was never too sure if it was just a matter of updating the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file or is it a bit more involved .

If it is a matter of updating the above file then does anyone know the closest card (functional wise) to the Volar FM A808 above.
