Sorry, my specifications are missing, but I really have some technicals difficultuies to fill that form.

Anyway, like the previous (old) post "Avermedia m779 pcie tuner problems - please help", I have same issues trying to use this card.

I've not seen any solution on that post, but maybe meanwhile somebody have found a way.

This is my configuration (I've tried as well using the one created from allanp81).
The graph is exactly the same posted from allanp81.

<capturecard commercialname="Avermedia M779 PCIe BDA DVB-T" capturename="M779 PCIe Digital Video Capture 2" devid="ven_18c3&dev_0720&subsys_032e1461&rev_00&capture">
<capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"/>
<tv>
<interface cat="capture" video="3" audio="4" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="2"/>
<filters>
<filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider" checkdevice="false"/>
<filter cat="tunerdevice" name="M779 PCIe BDA DVB-T Tuner 2" checkdevice="false"/>
<filter cat="capture" name="M779 PCIe Digital Video Capture 2" checkdevice="false"/>
</filters>
<connections>
<connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice" sinkpin="0"/>
<connection sourcefilter="tunerdevice" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0"/>
</connections>
</tv>
</capturecard>

the only main difference is that Iàve set checkdevice="false", as suggested on the guide.

Starting autotuning, i take forever, then no channels were found.

What I can say about my system is that:

PC Dell Dimension 9200
Windows Vista Ultimate (constantly updated)
4Gb RAM (usless with Vista :( )
CPU Intel Core 2 Duo 6700 2.66GHz

I cannot update drivers, because seems Avermedia dont provide drivers for this card.

What else...?

I hate Vista Media Center... is so closed... I would like to use Media Portal :mad:

Thanks
