Hello,

awaking mp from hibernating takes longer then when windows was freshly installed.

I guess that is a common symphon of windows but what can i do against it? Is the windows Defrag the way to go? (is it really helping?)

What do you do against it?

Thanks :)

btw: I m using the pc only for mp. There are no other programs installed. (besides codecs, remote control software...)

I tried searching for help but i didnt find anything. I tried it with the word standby and "s3" but no topic pointed to any help...

Could someone recommand a topic to me?

Thanks :)

I would stick with hibernation (also known as S4 or "Suspend to disk"), especially when S3 doesn't work for you.
If wakeup from hibernation is slower than it was before, try to defrag your hard drive (yes, this will help) or reinstall Windows (the ultimate solution for many problems ;)).
