this is a very awesome simple tip:
you can mount the 'Moving Pictures' backdrop and covers folders as Picture folders from within MediaPortal's config.
By default, the folders for the fullsize backdrops and covers are (on WinXP):
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\MovingPictures\Covers\FullSize
and
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\MovingPictures\Backdrops\FullSize
if you have a lot of movies, some of those backdrops and covers are wonderful art that's perfect for a slideshow and conversation topics.
map the folders, put on some music in MP, and start a slideshow of backdrops or covers.
it's a lot of fun!
