If you are just going to backup a existing installation, copy the whole MP folder to where you want backup saved, easy.
Then reinstall that version, and overwrite files to repair/replace.

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help!

When I first start watching a TV program the timeshift functions works perfectly. I can shift back and forth in time and it works...
