BackgroundManager plugin can use random fanart on movies, series music... (1 Viewer)

Hi.
The BackgroundManager plugin enables a skinner to alter the background of the home screen based on the focussed menu item. This is a nice feature but I have an idea to extend this. If a menu item gets focus that navigate to a plugin with lots of different fanart (Movies, Series, Music) it would be nice if the plugin is able to show a random fanart from selected type as home screen background. E.G. if the focus is on series the plugin provides a random series fanart as background. ATM it shows the default series background but it would be nice if it could show e.g. a "Game of Thrones" or "Castle" or "Falling Skies" fanart instead... And a timeout for this could be nice also. After e.g. one minute the fanart is replaced by another one...

It seems, that this plugin is not availaible for MP1. It would be great if it would work with Mp1 also.

Hi.
This plugin can't be ported to MP1, I'm afraid. In MP1 the skinner needs to work this out inside the skin. It's possible in MP1 but a lot more work for the skinner. E.G. the PureVision HD skin can provide this. I'm sure other skins are also able to do so.

Pity but in time when I change to MP2 I will have it anyway.
