    Hi,

I'm about the upgrade my TVServer installation to v1 from v1 RC1 and would like to know if there is a way to export and the import the TV schedules I have. I'm not talking about shows that have already been recorded, as I know they can be imported. I'm talking about the season records I have set up.

    Kind Regards.

I've been looking at the TVLibrary database and found a couple of likely suspects for holding the season recording information.

So, far I've got this as my SQL for extracting the information...

    Code:
SELECT * FROM Schedule WHERE id_Schedule NOT IN (SELECT idSchedule FROM CanceledSchedule)

Can anyone tell me if that's correct and if I've missed anything?

I am planning to upgrade from v1 RC1 to v1 (final), and I really want to avoid having to re-enter my season recordings as and when they re-appear in the TV Guide. One of the *BIG* plus points of having media portal is that I can set my season records up and just forget about it, then when things appear in Recorded TV I just watch them when I feel like it. I rarely watch Live TV for that very reason (oh, and the ad skipping :))

Anyway, I'm hoping I can run the above query against my TvLibrary database, save the results to a text file and then just do a bulk insert once I've done a clean install of MediaPortal v1.0

Since no-one was able to offer any help, and to aid anyone who stumbles upon this thread looking for a solution, I have just managed to successfully upgrade my TV Server setup from 1.0 RC1 to 1.0 (proper). It turns out there is an "Export" button in the TV Channels section of the configuration program. I used that, and it generates an export.xml file, which can then be imported in to the new installation. One thing I did have to do was set the region of my DVB-T cards, otherwise they couldn't tune in to anything.

I actually have 2 x T500 plus 2 single T's. I also have another T500 lined up and ready to go in. I've found that one of my single T's had problems recording. TBH I've not actually tested having all 6 muxes recording at the same time.

I might set up a test to record 5 separate muxes simultaneously.
