Hello,

I probably go for Ethernet over power (homeplug), which has about 7MByte/sec at most.
How much bandwidth does one TV-Stream need?

thanks in advance,

Depends on the settings.
You can have satisfactory results at 4-6MBit/s but my settings are 8-12 MBit/s variable rate. 7MBytes/s would be plenty enough for 4-5 clients and a server if there's no other traffic on the network.
Also be aware that even on 100MBit network=10MByte/s that declared values should be divided by 2 to be on the safe side.
Are 7Mbytes/sec only a declared value or a real speed ?
What is the lowest speed for Ethernet over power?

netto speed is declared as 80MBit/sec ~ 10MByte/sec -> at best!
Probably the speed in the last room is can be halved -> 5MByte/sec. Number of TV clients are two plus two audio clients

Many thanks for the answer. So far I've used Logitech's Harmony hub. This allows you to control all components (including the media portal). I have now contacted the Sofabaton hotline. It should also work here like with the Harmony. Unfortunately, not all of the IR codes are correct. You can also learn commands here. But that doesn't...

I'm not sure what the issue was, but I decided to try a different way of solving the problem.
