Banners and then Fan Art (1 Viewer)

I'm running TV-Series from StreamedMP-0.4.298.exe

I got the FanArt working at all the levels down to the actual episode. FanArt at the top, the poster or episode preview on the bottom left and words/lists on the bottom middle/right. Actually, it's very cool.

But I've seen some screen shots where ... when you first go into TV Series, you are greeted with a grid of just the show's banners. Maybe at the very bottom there is a general summary about the highlighted TV-Series.

How do you (or can you) get this to work ... and keep fanart after you select a TV-Series? I've tried all the options in TV-Series config. and I can't make it work.

The Wide Banner layout can be changed in the StreamedMP setup program, by going to the Add\Remove programs in the control panel and running Modify/Change.

You can also goto your StreamedMP Skin directory and edit a file: TVSeries.SkinSettings.xml, in there you will see:

<series layout="ListPosters">

change this to:

<series layout="WideBanners">

Ya, I don't remember what I selected back when I installed it, but since the FanArt option looked so cool (and I wanted that) I probably selected FanArt. Actually I want both (in different parts).

I did try selected WideBanners in the TV-Series Config screen, but the setting doesn't seem to "stick" and reverts to something else.

Both 'Default' and 'Fanart' in StreamedMP show Fanart for TVSeries/MovingPictures, you just see more of the fanart in the Fanart style.

I saw you posted a new version ( MP-TVSeries-2.1.3321.zip ).

If I've installed:
MediaPortal v1.0
StreamedMP-0.4.298.exe

I got TV-Series with StreamedMP. Can I use your new version now, or do I wait until StreamedMP releases a new bundle?

If I can use v2.1.3321 now, what is the correct procedure for upgrading my installation?

You can still use the latest version of TVSeries with StreamedMP 0.4.298, there is a fanart bug that needs to be fixed in StreamedMP but that is already addressed and will be included in the v0.5.xxx.

The Upgrade procedure can be done any which way you like. If you installed the latest version of TVSeries first then run setup of StreamedMP, the installer will recognize that you have a newer version of the plugin installed and wont overwrite it....it will only install or upgrade.
