Basic Home Editor cannot handle pictures from other folders? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

in the menu editor under the "BasicHome Design" tab I've chosen
an own created folder under "Single Image Folder" for one of my
modules. When going to the "Default Background Images" tab and
then wanting to change the image for that menu the editor rises
an error popup (see below) and the image cannot be changed.
Any help?

Hi,

That does not look good, but I can't reproduce with the current editor version (for MP 1.2Beta).

If you could expand the details and copy and past the contents to a text file and attach to the reply post I will have a look.

On that subject, is there any chance that the Browse function could also include network shares? I have all my pics on my server and use a small SSD for my only htpc drive. I'd like to point my Pictures menu at my home photos share on my server.

Can you let me know the full path on your system for this folder as the exception points to a problem with the path and I will need to setup the same dir strcture here to test.

It should already supprt that, is your network share a mapped drive or just the URL for it?

The full path is
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP\Media\SMPBackgrounds\world
Win XP, SP3

I manually added "world" as a subfolder in windows explorer to contain additional backgrounds I like to use for modules.
