Basic Home Screen does not work (1 Viewer)

Hi,
i installed the MP 1.1.0.0 RC4 and got the newest X-Factor r680.

If i select "Start with Basic Home Screen" i can not switch to "My Videos" because MP switches back to the start screen after 3 seconds.
It only works if i unset the mark at "start with basic home screen"

And i can`t find My TV Series in Basic Home Screen.

Hi "Skinners" ,

i got the RC4 abd the first Time the new XFactor r630.

If i switch to "Movies" to watch my Movie Folders, it doesn`t work, it switches back to the main menu.
This only happens when i start MP with basic home screen.
When i start MP with my home it works.

This only happens when using the X-Factor so i think this is a skin bug?

1. Did you customize basichome with the menu editor?
2. Do you have MovingPictures installed and activated?

Reason I ask is that the default basichome, if you did not customize, go to MovingPictures.

Hi,
i customized nothing, i only installed the Skin and set it to "start with basic home screen" as shown in the requirements.
But it does not work as you can see in the video.
If i start the SKin with "my home" it works.
Moving Pictures is not installed because i don`t want to juse it.

OK, in that case, just start the basichome editor from MP Configuration, plugins and change Movies to point to the myvideos.xml file

1. No i did nothing after installation and let it to default settings. I set it to "start with basic home screen" in the MP config as shown in the requirements.
But as you can see in the video, it does not work to go to my movie folders.
But if you start the skin in the "my Home" screen it works.

2. No I don`t installed the Moving Pictures because I don`t want to juse it.

So it is a skin feature that you can`t juse your own video folders or what did you say?

Cul8er is just providing the most popular options by default. You will see that he also did a LOT of work to ensure everyone can customize as required.

Well, it just give you an overview of how the menu editor works.
After reading that to get the background, you just need to do as I explained in post #6.

Give it a try and reply here with specific questions if you still need help.
