Hi,
My problem is, that BASS audio-player does not change the sample-rate when playing files with different samples-rates.
I have audio-files both with 44.1kHz and with 48kHz sample-rate.
My sound device is the onboard Realtek High-Definition Digital output (S/PDIF) which goes to an external D/A-converter.
The external D/A-converter shows me, which sample-rate it is receiving.
My system runs on Win7 Professional.
So I have tried the following settings in MP music-sections to see, if the audio-player plays the audio with the correct sample-rate:
I don't know if this is a matter of Windows or of MP/BASS-player because with WASAPI exlusive mode it works.
But when Winamp can play correctly, so should BASS-player.
It would be nice to get BASS player (with ASIO) to output the correct sample-rate because I want my visualisations
Kind regards
Roger

- BASS player --> No change of sample-rate
- BASS player with ASIO (ASIO4ALL) --> No change of sample-rate
- WASAPI exclusive mode --> Correct (!) change of sample-rate
- Internal dshow player --> No change of sample-rate
- Winamp as external player with ASIO plugin and ASIO4ALL --> Correct (!) change of sample-rate.
