I have 3 clients, all fairly similar specs apart from different graphics cards. On 2 of them (an ATI x2400 and an ATI x1950 pro) I get perfect playback of BBC HD during live and recorded TV. On the other machine with the x1300 though it's unwatchable and just stutters the whole time with audio cutting in and out as well. It was certainly fine before and can play back the TS files outside of MP without any issues.

Any one got any ideas what's up? I've attached logs where you can see it dropping the frames.

Forgot to add that this problem goes away if I set the client back to using RTSP. All clients are set to not use RTSP though.

Since non-rtsp is not supported, and it does not seem to be a bug if it was supported, set to "no bug".

You could try different codecs, MS DTV for example since you are using W7

I've noticed that it's broken even if I turn on RSTP again. The picture then just continually breaks up no matter what codec I use. If I close MP down and open up either the timeshift file or recording in WMP then it plays back just fine, no stuttering.

Have done some more testing with this and discovered that it's not confined purely to BBC HD, it seems to be any .TS file, whether it's mpeg2 or h.264. Any .ts files when played from within MP just stutter like crazy and the whole thing becomes slow to respond. If I quit MP and just play through media player then they play back fine as expected. This was never an issue before so something has changed with MP as I haven't changed anything on my system, hardware or software wise.

The problem goes away if I rename any of the files to .mkv instead.
