Hi - just started using OnlineVideos, works great.

How would I go about getting the direct channel feeds added to the BBC iPlayer categories? I added them manually last night, but then lost them when I did an automatic update! So I guess the correct way of sorting this is by getting them added to the auto-update :)

    The feeds are:

    Name: BBC One
Feed: BBC iPlayer - BBC One programmes

    Name: BBC Two
Feed: BBC iPlayer - BBC Two programmes

    Name: BBC Three
Feed: BBC iPlayer - BBC Three programmes

    Name: BBC Four
Feed: BBC iPlayer - BBC Four programmes

    Name: BBC HD
Feed: BBC iPlayer - BBC HD programmes

    Name: CBBC
Feed: BBC iPlayer - CBBC programmes

    Name: CBeebies
Feed: BBC iPlayer - CBeebies programmes

    Name: BBC Parliment
Feed: BBC iPlayer - BBC Parliament programmes

    Name: BBC News
Feed: BBC iPlayer - BBC News Channel programmes

    Name: BBC Alba
Feed: BBC iPlayer - BBC ALBA programmes

And - nothing here yet, but a hint at the future - the BBC have just started adding ITV/4/E4/Channel Five/Fiver etc to iplayer. And here are the feeds! (Unfortunately empty for now, but need to keep an eye on them).

    Name: ITV 1
Feed: BBC iPlayer - ITV 1 programmes

    Name: ITV 2
Feed: BBC iPlayer - ITV 2 programmes

    Name: ITV 3
Feed: BBC iPlayer - ITV 3 programmes

    Name: ITV 4
Feed: BBC iPlayer - ITV 4 programmes

    Name: Channel 4
Feed: BBC iPlayer - Channel 4 programmes

    Name: More 4
Feed: BBC iPlayer - More 4 programmes

    Name: E4
Feed: BBC iPlayer - E4 programmes

    Name: Film4
Feed: BBC iPlayer - Film 4 programmes

    Name: Channel 5 (Formerly 'Five')
Feed: BBC iPlayer - Five programmes

    Name: Fiver
Feed: BBC iPlayer - Fiver programmes

    Name: Five USA
Feed: BBC iPlayer - Five USA programmes

    Name: S4C
Feed: BBC iPlayer - S4C programmes

    Hi there,

I might be mistaken, but the BBC are only providing links to the third parties website/players (metadata). So if the third party uses a different delivery method to iPlayer, then Online Videos might not work for that content. ie if ITV Catchup doesnt work directly now, then it still wont work through iPlayer.

    That maybe the case.

The main point of this thread was to get the direct BBC channels added to OnlineVideos. In addition to the 'popular','comedy' etc categories

    Revs,

Agree... I manually add BBC1,2,3,4 and HD to my XML file after each full update - it would be nice to have them properly added.

Works great - thanks! Will be much easier for the WAF now!!

One quick question - I notice with the iPlayer streams that once you select one, you then get a menu with all the different resolutions/versions, is there any way to get it to default to the highest resolution one? (or default to something). That way it would simplify it, and increase the "WAF".

Problem with that is, I don't know which streams actually work beforehand.
I decided to show them all, so you can try all the different ones. If I pre-select one and onyl send its url to the player it might not work and there is no way you can then select other streams...

Along these lines, is it possible to have the live stream of the channels show up, or is that not appropriate for the way this plugin works. I tried adding the stream url in creating a channel, but think I may have gotten it wrong, as it doesn't seem to fetch. That or I have misunderstood how it is supposed to work.
