on the topic of the bda/dvb hotifx, has anybody else noticed the "dvb fix" stopped working after some SW updates? My XP TV server system with all msft fixes/updates and the "dvb fix" was working fine with 2 PCI ATSC tuners until I added 2 hdhomerun Enet ATSC tuners. (I violated computer rule #1, it it ain't broke don't fix it) After a combination of downloading .NET updates to get the newest hdhomerun driver/utilities running, and other Msft once a month updates, I could only get 1 tuner working. Channel scan worked, I could enable any 1 of 4 tuners and record 1 channel at a time, but always saw failures when I tried to enable 2 tuners and record 2 shows at the same time. Same problems happened if I uninstalled the hdhomerun tuners/drivers/utilities a and only used the 2 known good PCI tuners. I updated MePo from 1.2.1 to 1.2.3 and had the same problem. After a lot of hair pulling and "bad words" I noticed .NET errors in the XP application log files with the following types of error messages
.NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting

Faulting application tvservice.exe, version 1.2.3.0, stamp 4f844ef1, faulting module psisdecd.dll, version 6.5.2600.5512, stamp 4802a105, debug? 0, fault address 0x0001f941.
wiki search for "psisdecd" brought me to the XP setupguide http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/11_Preparing_Your_System/XP_User_Guide?highlight=psisdecd.dll I reran the runme.bat in C:\dvbfix and everything started working again. After setting up MePo 1.2.3 I can get all 4 ATSC tuners working, record up to 4 shows at the same time, and with the help of ComSkipMonitored plugin use comskip on the shows. I don't know what I did to break "dvb fix", maybe .NET updates for hdhomerun or something in the Msft security updates, but I had to redo the runme.bat to get my XP TV Server running.
