Benutzung der Fernbedienung schiesst Mediaportal ab .. ??!! (1 Viewer)

Hallo Zusammen,

es ist zwar schwer zu glauben, aber offensichtlich scheint die Tastenbelegung meiner Fernbedienung Mediaportal
ins nirvana zu senden.

Die Vermutung (meine Frau schiesst ihn immer ab, mit der Behauptung: Ich habe nichts gemacht),
das einige Tasten Programme der Media Center Edition starten und diese dann die TV Karten Konfiguration
himmelt.

Hat jemand ähnliche Probleme ?

Ein Wiederherstellen des Systems via Image bringt die Funktion sofort zurück (ink. Updates auf den aktuellen
Tag, Viren und Windows).

Gibt es hier tötliche Kombination, welche bereits bekannt sind. Der Fehler macht sich übrigens erst nach
dem nächsten Booten bemerkbar und ist daher schwer zu finden.

Wie kann man den die entsprechenden Dienste deaktivieren ?

Das Problem lag in der Fernbedienung, wenn man die schöne grosse grüne Windowstaste
gedrückt hat. Wurde das Konfigurationsprogramm von MCE aufgerufen und meine
TV Karten hatten bei dem nächsten Booten kein Signal mehr.
Ich habe diese tastenzuweisung jetzt aus der apps.cfg von IRTRANS entfernt, aber noch nicht getestet,
ob Mediaportal jetzt noch geht. MCE wird jetzt jedenfalls nicht mehr gestartet und konfiguiert.

Für alle, die bei Vista den Green Button deaktivieren wollen (sorry ritchie, XP hab ich nicht ):

Tips and Tricks: Windows Vista Disable the green button starting MCE

A problem you may have when using Windows Vista and MediaPortal is that if you press the green windows button on the remote to return to the home screen in MediaPortal, MCE starts up.


In order to prevent this, carry out the following:

Vista Home Premium Solution: Create the settings of the grouppolicies directly without gpedit.msc

* Logon as the user running Mediaportal
* Start regedit.exe
* Got to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsMediaCenter (If WindowsMediaCenter does not exists, just create it)
* Create new DWord entry with the name MediaCenter and the Value 1
* reboot the computer

kann man das MCE unter vista irgendwie ganz deaktivieren, oder zumindest die FB aus der config nehmen??
