Best codecs for anime? (1 Viewer)

Hey all. I have been using MediaPortal to play anime for some time, and I was wondering if there are optimal codec packs and/or settings that people use.

I have always used CCCP, and have had no problems watching anime with external players like MPC. In MP, I tend to get interesting errors. One is that karaoke won't work properly sometimes. Other times, karaoke will cause the video to freeze altogether. With high resolution stuff, videos may start out of sync with the audio, and I have to skip back and forth in the video to get it to sync right.

I doubt this is because of my system specs, since I have a very powerful system, so I thought maybe it had to do with my codec settings.

I use ffdshow for all video and audio decoding in MP Config. Any suggestions?

I use the SAF Package since years now - starting with 5 it's fine with playing everything you get on the net ...

Ok, but in the codecs and renderers section of the MP config, what specific codec do you use for each type of encode?

this is done from the package automatically ... ask also for the unlockcode (pm to the dev) and everything works automatically
