I am feeling that the tuner card that I have would be better used a toilet paper.
This second usb tuner is crap!
Does anyone know of a better, more stable dual tuner?
My mother board has run out of slots (NVIDIA 7600GT wastes a slot because its so fat)

cheers

Well...
I might have to retract my last statement, as the card works perfectly woth WIndows Media Center!
I feel dirty though, but if the shirt fits...
Any ideas on how I may be able make MP work? Anyone?
cheers

Are you using it on XP or MCE? Have you applied the dual tuner patch and the other recommended microsoft fixes? Have you tried the internal USB plug and the external plug?

I agree with you about the card though, but I am only bitter because my second tuner was DOA and the store I got it from was very reluctant to take it back.

Yeh mate, I'm using windows MC edition.
I have also applied the patch from microsoft, and I am using the external USB port, as I have read many posts warning not tho use the internal USB connection.

I have an inkling that it was the microsoft patch that has got somthing to do with MP now not being able to see the second tuner. (using 3.41 dvico drivers)

Any ideas anyone?

I use the Dual Digital with no problems whatsoever. It's very stable. I've recorded both tuners and watched a recording at the same time.

My only gripe is that the analog input isn't up to scratch and support for the analog input is non-existant in MP. I want analogue input for Fo*tel. I know that I can get it with a little effort, but, my time is limited and I'm gonna get rid of Fo*tel anyway.

If you want support for the analogue section, follow the instructions in the sticky post for software analogue tuners? That will work about a thousand times better than just wishing for support to magically materialise, I think.
