Big problem with SP2 and internet... help

(wanted to add a new Hard drive and clean up anyway)</p><p>Did a format of the C drive, install XP. all is fine.</p><p>Internet works instantly, as does the network (I can find my other PC over the network via router).</p><p>Start updating windows, the first update is fine.</p><p>Restart, update to Service Pack 2. installs ok and no errors to restart.</p><p></p><p>Now the problem, after the restart my internet connection works for a very short time (like 10 seconds), I can just make 1 google search or get to the MS update site...</p><p>After this the browser wont connet to anything.</p><p>Network connections shows no errors and says all is fine, also my network connection to my other PC works!</p><p>There are no IP conflicts and typing IPCONFIG gives a normal IP adress.</p><p></p><p>Could my networkcard be damaged?
