When moving around in Mediaportal, it fills the screen perfectly BUT as soon as i watch tv there is a black line down the left and right of the picture. i have tried all the aspect ratios and non-linear stretch is the best.
The best i can get it is to use the crop functionality on the left border and i can get rid of the left black line but the right black line doesn't get less no matter what (it is as though the picture is positioned to much to the left).
So i tried to use UI Calibration tool in Mediaportal but have no idea how to use it and cannot find documentation on it. What is the difference between the red and green boxes?
Am i even in the right place to get rid of these lines? Is it MEdiaportal causing this line down the right that i cannot get rid of?
My panasonic tv has a resolution of 1024x768 but i need to set it to 1260x684 (something to that effect). First i find it weird that i have to set the horizontal measurement larger than 1024 (maybe that is just the way it is suposed to be)?
