black screen after start (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I get a black screen after I start MP when configured full screen. The full screen initially works during the loading sequence but then blanks out as soon as MP is loaded.
The strange thing is that it works one time after install. When I start it a second time it won't work again (after closing it and restart). I once reduced the resolution, which then also made it work one time but not a second. I also installeld the latest SVN version whcih didn't make a difference.
My board is a ZOTAC Ion Mini-ITX. All other media players work well (Boxee, XMBC).
