Hi All,

I have a problem with MP and using My TV - I've got everything else working perfectly but My TV always gives problems (tried this on two totally different systems) I can get TV working fine after the inital tuning, but at the next channel change or if I'm lucky the next reboot, I just get a black screen when turning on TV... Sometimes when I turn on TV the system bluescreens and reboots :(
Any ideas on what could cause something like this ? Or if waiting for TV Engine 3 is likely to have any affect on this problem ?
Logs will follow tomorrow I can get back on the HTPC....

Cheers

Here is the log as promised - This is when I get no tv, just a black screen!!
I have tested the signal with my freeview box and I can get all the channels fine.

Hopefully someone can come up with some ideas as I'm stuck at the moment!

Cheers

Ok, after much tinkering and wasting time I have come to the conclusion that the TV card drivers are causing BSOD's and they don't appear to like working with MP in terms of channel tuning :(
I've now ordered an Avermedia USB2 DVB tuner - lets hope that works better!!

I'd advise everyone AGAINST buying a Lifeview TV Walker Q DVB-T - Despite other advice on the forum (which is what made me go for that one!) it isn't a very reliable tuner, and Lifeview tech support don't even know what the current driver is! They say its 1.4.0.001 on the website but the link goes to 1.2.0.000!
After a bit of google'ing I find i'm not the only one with BSOD's using this card either.
