I'm getting a black screen for the TBS ISDB-T TV Tuner here in Brazil, MP detect and correct identify the device, there is no video or audio. After modifying the dvbt.xml file is possible to scan the channels (it take an awful 35 minutes to end by the way) and is possible to see the signal levels while MP do the scan.

Attached to this messages is the patch to include Brazil in the list (apply with patch -p0 -E<patch_dvbt.patch) or get the patched one, don't know what the "offset" means so so i left with "0", bdainf.txt include extended information about the TBS device and this is the device driver.

Some friends using Dibcomm and other devices are having success with MediaPortal, don't know why this one is having problems.

Thank you.

This is a second log, after midia portal freeze the main screen when I select a channel and couldn't safe disconnect the the USB device. The only way to close MP was using the command taskkill.

Thanks.

Sorry, I don't use Media Portal anymore.
It's too clunky and there is no support for ISDB-Tb

I'm from Brazil too and I'm also having scanning issues.
What software do you use now?[DOUBLEPOST=1423513519][/DOUBLEPOST]it actually sucessfuly scanned all the channels after a while.
I'm using Media Portal TV server with Kodi.

Any feedback or further information you could share to help us improve would be much appreciated. :)

For example, are you still using the TBS tuner?
When you said "no support", what do you mean? (It seems like your tuner was detected and was able to scan for channels.)
Which parts were the clunky parts?

Yes but I'm not using the MediaPortal anymore.

By "no support" I mean exactly that, all the information, the patch, the files was posted back in 2009, it took six years to get a feedback.

I can't remember exactly but back then, the program stop responding, you don't know what he is doing than it get back to work again, things like that.

Sorry but that's almost certainly because you posted this thread in the wrong part of the forum.

This part of the forum is for asking for help.

Tuning details should be posted here:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/forums/submit-epg-grabbers-and-tuningdetails.296/

Other code patches should be posted here (or submit a pull request):

FWIW we've had ISDB-T tuning details for Sao Paulo Brazil for 4.5 years:
    https://github.com/MediaPortal/Medi...ngParameters/dvbt/Brazil.ISDB - Sao Paulo.xml

I can't remember exactly but back then, the program stop responding, you don't know what he is doing than it get back to work again, things like that.
    Okay, thanks. :)

    No, I'm sorry.
Back in 2009 the forum structure was very different and I was asking for help, never got it. At the same time I've provided fixes necessaries to make some part work.

I'm not a programmer but I helped to develop DVBviewer and DVBStreamExplorer for ISDB-Tb back in 2008, 2009 and 2010. I did tried to help MediaPortal back than, nobody wanted help so I drop it.

That ISDB-Tb tunning list for São Paulo Brazil is very old, outdated and incomplete. Here is the full channel list for São Paulo and the rest of Brazil.
