Video for me is silky smooth on my HTPC / TV server the OS on this is Vista Ultimate 32bit and has an HD2600XT (Cat 10.12) in it atm. For LiveTV I use Core AVC 2 codec for H264 and Divx Audio codec for the AAC Audio the only issue I seem to have still is the sound one, I sometimes can't even play back a recording, cutting the recordings with  VideoRedo first helps with the sound issue sometimes but is a process I could do without unless I intend to archive the recording. I did a test of recording two programs simultaneously, the one I did from BBC HD has garbled sound when played back through MePo even after trimming the Pre and Post record section with VideoRedo whilst the other from ITV 1 HD plays back ok. PowerDVD 10 is the only Media Player that can play back any of the HD recordings I have made before I cut them using PDVD the sound is perfect every time.I was wondering how to force the PowerDVD Audio Codec as the AAC codec of choice as it seems to support the AAC LATM/LOAS audio stream, I have watched some videos with the information box enabled in PDVD and you can see when the audio changes bitrate and also when it changes from AAC 2 2ch audio and AAC 5.1 6 ch audio. I haven't found any other codecs that are accepted by MePo for LiveTV AAC as yet.Even when I stream Live TV to the PC I use in my office which runs Win7x64 and MePo TV Client this has an Nv 460 GFX card, I use the MS DTV codec for H264 on this but I am still stuck with the crap Divx one for the Audio and I still suffer from garbled audio some of the time but the video is stutter free.</blockquote>
