I have my Bluray DVD's playing in Mediaportal direct from the DVD drive and I can also rip them to my harddrive and play them. What I am noticing is a very long lag (3 minutes) from the time I click the index.bdmv file to when the movie actually begins playing when I watch a movie from the DVD player. If I run the same movie after being ripped to my harddrive is will start playing in about 10-15 seconds. I have to use AnyDVD when watching the DVD from the player and do not when watching from the harddrive. Is this normal, or do I have something configured incorrectly. If I play a movie through TMT3 from the DVD drive it starts in about 10-15 seconds. If I can get responses on if anyone else is experiencing delay, if the delay is normal or if someone can recommend a fix I would appreciate it. I am trying to stay with the internal player to keep this as simple as possible for my family.
