Thanks for delivering the new version.

One question i have is do i need to build the database again.

it does recongnise the existing enteries but the Blu-ray movies are displayed as SD.

Is there a configuration change i need to do.

Please advise.

It should upgrade fine. As for the SD designation on Bluray movies, are these disk images, actual disks or reencoded video files? If it is a disk image or a physical disk mediainfo is not scanned until first playback so Moving Pictures simply does not yet have any information. The fact that your skin is displaying SD instead of nothing is probably a bug in the skin file. Which skin are you using?

EDIT: It was pointed out to me by ltfearme that odd logo behavior can occur if you are not using MediaPortal 1.1.0 as well. What version of MediaPortal are you on?

Thanks for the quick reply.

I am using Mediaportal 1.0.2

These are the movies that are ripped from the disk and placed on HD. Its not ISO format but exact blu-ray format and directory structure.

Used tsmuxer to only keep the movie on the HD.

I am currently using Bluewide skin. The default one i guess.

Thanks again for looking into this.

I wonder if the MediaInfo has been retrieved but for the wrong file in the Blu-ray structure? Can you take a screen-shot of your File Details in the Movie Manager of the config screen:

    1. Select Movie from list in Movie Manager
    2. Switch from 'Movie Details' to 'File Details'
    3. Take a screen shot of the File information presented.

Also if you can take a screenshot of the same movie from the MediaPortal GUI and take screenshot (Press F11)

No, doesn't look like a version issue. It appears to me that the MediaInfo library is failing to retrieve details about your bdmv file. I am honestly not certain that the MediaInfo library is capable of reading a file of this type though. Can you try a few things for me?

    1) Open the Movie Manager and goto the File Details page for the movie. Click the gear on the toolbar and click "Retrieve MediaInfo". Does this cause any of the fields in the table to update?

    2) Download the MediaInfo GUI interface and attempt to scan the file. It is important that you scan the exact same file that is listed in the Moving Pictures configuration screen. If this also does not return any results in the MediaInfo GUI then we may have a problem with the MediaInfo library supporting this file type.

    3) If MediaInfo did not give you any details when targeting the bdmv file, can you try to find another target in your Bluray folder (or maybe the folder itself as a target) that causes the MediaInfo GUI to return correct data?

    3) If MediaInfo did not give you any details when targeting the bdmv file, can you try to find another target in your Bluray folder (or maybe the folder itself as a target) that causes the MediaInfo GUI to return correct data?

Please advise if its possible for the mediainfo to scan the folders as target with in moving pictures.

    thanks

I am not sure what we should be scanning. Looks to me like the m2ts file but a single movie can sometimes be split into multiple m2ts files correct? Which may mean we would have some incorrect information (like runtime). I don't have any bluray content so I am going to have to pass this off to armandp I think. I have opened an issue on the tracker for this though, so if you star the issue you will get email updates as progress is made (or if we have any questions).
