Hello,

I am new to MP and I couldn't find any specific posts about this issue I'm having.

All channels I have access have their image scrambled at the bottom. Has anyone seen something similar to this and have already found what causes it and what's the solution?

I copied the image of one of the channels so you could see what is happening.

Thanks for any help on this matter.

Hi Powermarcel10,

What kind of specs should I post? Is there any tool that gets the specs automatically and generate a log that I could post here?

I was not able to see any image in any channel until I found out about installing WinDVR 3 (which is not in production anymore). After installing it all channels started working but unfortunately with that scrambled bar at the bottom.

Thanks.

    Welcome mackmelo

Even basic info like make\model of pc, video card, TV card and codecs setup in MP config would be helpful.

Under windows start menu, there is Mediaportal, find the debug mode run and use option 1, repeat your problem, then upload the logs found on your desktop using the forum advanced + feature and attach to your new post, use preview before finalising post to make sure logs are there so we can check them.

    Thanks

    Dear Paranoid Delusion,

I did what you said and I attached the auto-generated zip file.

Thank for your help with this!

You can add your system specs, incl used codecs to your profile.. With this info we can help you better.. It's good to know wich tv card you are using, wich craphic card (maybe this is a driver issue) etc..

When you have this kind of issues with watching to or video's always try to use another codec.. Most of this kind of problems are codec related.. You can use, like earlier said in this topic the default MS DTV codecs.. They are working fine in most cases.. Otherwise you can download the latest SAF6 (HOBRing - SAF download) and try the LAV video and/or audio decoders. I'm using these ones myself, and they are working very good and fast..
