[no Bug] BSOD then error starting (1 Viewer)

    Just sat down to watch a movie to be greeted with an error reporting a catastrophic error (reported as a BSOD) and now getting the attached when trying to start mp.

    Cant get logs - MP wont start :(

    - Just running a SFC /SCANNOW and disk check...

    Tried that - and copying files as suggested in an earlier post.
    Going for a full re-install now (removal and reinstall...)

    I'll keep you posted...

    Complete removal of MP - uninstalled all versions of MS C++ REDIST - removed MySQL - coomplete reinstall of all the MP stuff (including the other requirements)
    Working again now..!

    Very strange...
    Only about 6 hours configuration to do now! :(

    can you post the details from event log?

    marking this as no bug either way (BSOD are down to bad drivers or hardware issues). Seems like something got corrupted after the BSOD
