I installed MP on a laptop with a broken onboard videocard. Luckily, the external VGA output works fine so I am using an external 17" TFT. I installed the newest version of MP but during startup it comes with an error message. Unfortunately, the message is covered by some other loading messages. It does come up with a application but nothing works. Upon clicking the Exit button, the application gives some kind of error message. I saved the logs (see attachment). I guess it has something to do with the fact the MP tries to show the application to the original screen of the laptop?
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

    Hi

Is the onboard graphics-card DirectX9 compliant? I'm no expert in reading LOG files, but it looks like it could be a DirectX problem, and therefore the screen can’t render. Run a diagnostic on direct... From the Start menu, click Run , and then type "dxdiag". I also see number SQL-lite errors, so your PediaPortal installation could be corrupt...try reinstalling.
