[BUG] TVServer: Unable to import channel lists, even lists it just exported! (1 Viewer)

Windows Version: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2
1. TV Card: Hauppauge WinTV PVR 500MCE (2 Tuners on 1 Card)

TV-Server: tvengine3-12-23-2006--20-15h--Rev12357.zip
Installation Type: Both SQL server and TV-server are on the same PC

Step by step instructions:

1. Install TV-Server.
2. Start configuration tool.
3. Start autotuning for channels.
4. Go over to the "TV Channels" list and click "Export".
5. Click "Import" and load the list you just exported, it will say "Not a valid channel list" which is odd since it just created the file!
6. I've tried both reinstalling and clicking on "Clear" before importing, but it still fails.

This is seriously annoying after having spent an hour and a half exporting the list, editing it to my liking (channel names and order) and then trying to import it, to find it doesn't accept it. I then tried to export a list from TV-Server and reimport it to confirm that the bug was in TV-Server, not my edited list.

It's a multituner card, does the importer get confused? It should be able to import the list and I haven't found a single other report of it not working. Maybe it broke in this SVN?

If you are able to perform this action, please specify what version you are using. I had the latest CVS at the time of posting (tvengine3-12-23-2006--20-15h--Rev12357.zip). Therefore you may have used an older non-broken version and it would help to know which one that is.

I was able to export and import just fine with the 11-28-2006 SVN of the tv server engine and the same dated version of the 0.2.0.0 SVN version of MediaPortal.

Im using this: tvengine3-01-02-2007--20-16h--Rev12486, and are experiensing this error. Very annoying! My last used SVN was from 28.12, and that worked for me...

Found the bug, at least in my case. "Export" button writes false CountryID in the "export.xml" file. For some reason its writing 152 as the CountryID. A simple search-and-replace in the xml file, and change it to 47 which is the right here in Norway, i can import all the channels. But if i try to export again, same thing happens. Writes 152 i the xml file..

Wow, you found the bug! In my case it wrote CountryId="193", I changed it to CountryId="46" and now it imports correctly! Fix requested!

well...maybee a stupid question, but where can i find the country id for germany? have got the same error here.

Well, since sweden is 46 and norway is 47 I'm guessing it's the same as the country code you use when calling home from another country. And to Germany that is... 49?
