For some reason when I go to Watch your movies the bottom row where the movies are in (Flimstrip) non fan art orientated version of the skin. The entire row of movies is blank and you can move left to right. it still shows the top part where the first movie is highlighted and i can click ok/play to play only that movie. Its basically moving pictures with no mini covers for the movies or the ability to select them. Sometimes I can simply toggle the view until it works again, and sometimes it requires a reboot of the skin. does anyone know how to fix this / why it does it.


Here is a mockup of what happens if this was the first movie in my list. I am unable to select any other movies.

well, at least try with a different skin to verify it is a plugin issue.
Furthermore, please provide logfiles at debug logging level. And only when you verified it is not a skin issue.

I have tried 3 skins and they all do the same, StreamedMP, Blue, and XFace. I can not provide the logs until later this week when a new usb keyboard/mouse comes in to use on the HTPC's other ones took a crap the other day

This looks like a bug in the facade logic in MediaPortal itself. What version of MediaPortal are you using?

It does it on the new 1.0.2.0 and the 1.0.2.0 SVN that Disaster uses. Im using 7.2.545 of Moving Pictures, Im updating to the newest now but It doesnt usually happen 24/7 i see it about every 3 days. Normally happens when bringing the computer out of sleep. Never on a fresh reboot.

Well if you post your debug log files, I will take a peek for you. Make sure you get both the movingpictures.log file and the error.log file. I suspect this is an issue with MediaPortal itself though rather than Moving Pictures. Our use of the facade control (used to display the filmstrip view) is pretty run of the mill, we don't do anything fancy. Have you seen the issue in any other plug-ins?

Just a word about attaching anything to the forum posts, please do not use external sources, ie imageshack, these drive people nuts with the advertising\wait.

Pictures\logs etc can all be uploaded directly using the forum advanced + feature
