can anyone help me with s3 and Vista? - my machines have insomnia.... (1 Viewer)

I have three vista machines at home. Two desktops and an HTPC.

The HTPC sleeps fine, but neither of the Desktops will. Ive tried playing around with the power management settings on both but they stay awake.

Can anyone twll me what to check for that may be keeping them from entering S3?

Network cards, keyboards and mice are usually responsible for unwanted resumes from standby. Try to disable their device wake up settings.
