can anyone suggest a remote (reciever really) and were to buy (1 Viewer)

hi there guys.
im having difficulty with remotes
i bought a few ortek remotes (http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/VRC-1100_Ortek_Technology_MCE_Clone_Remote) and it really does seem to be a bunch of poo. i will be using the logitech harmony to control it.
I cannot find anywhere to buy them except from ebay coming from china an im not prepared to wait 2 weeks for it.
any ideas?

I personally use the MCE USB receivers and they work great. I have one that was branded for HP, and one that was branded for Dell. Both of which work with standard MCE remotes and also have built in IR emitters. The reason I like these so much is because they each have numerous IR receivers in them and it will pick up the signal from the remote regardless of where you point it. I can even point the remote the opposite direction and it still registers the button press.
