I download the PDF guide but it tells you to use ffdshow for everything. I need coreavc to decode the heavier h264 files. Can i have coreavc for h264 and ffdshow for the rest?

Hello, Tmac

Have you tried MediaPortal Configuration, Video, ViedeoPlayer?
There you can select codecs for H.264. ,and a different codec for MPEG-2.

i love how subtitles are implemented in the MP2 videoplayer, this is just perfect. 1080p playback is also very good. But video playback in MP2 is buggy when playing 4k material. Therefore: PLEASE add an option for an external video player! I'd LOVE to have VLC back as videoplayer, like in MP1! This works perfectly. You will make a...

In short, I am running MP 2.5 on a Win11 system with the skin blue vision (I also tried WMC but same issue). When recording TV shows no thumbnails are created. I have...

I say this because I have a new Panasonic 4K HDR TV, and with that settings, even if I have an old Gygabyte GPU (bought...
