I have moved the TVserver (and tuner cards) from the living room PC to the media server PC in the attick. Most seems to work fine, but I have an issue on the living room client. I don't have this issue on the client in my office (which never had a TVserver installed) so I think it is related to the unused TVserver.

Can I safely uninstall the TVserver from the living room PC without breaking MP client functionality?

Try stopping the TVService and disabling first in windows services, as long as the client is looking at the new tvserver, all should be fine anyhow, this would just let you test safely.

Thanks for the tip. Just tried that. I thought it the start-up was long stuck at 'waiting for TVserver to start', but maybe just my idea. For the rest it seems to work fine. I'll do some more testing.

I think I'll do a fresh install (of the client only) on the other boot partion before I remove anything ...

Disabling the TVserver service didn't solve the problem.

I did a clean install of MP 1.0 on the second boot partion (what a work every time ...) let's see if that works.
