When I start the TV in Mediaportal I get a picture. I can record and everything, no problem. But I can not change the channel. When I try to change the channel the screen stays black for a while and after a view seconds I get a still image from the channel I was watching. The workaround I have to use now is switch channels, wait for the screen to freeze, close MediaPortal and start it again. After that I can watch the selected channel. I have to do this every time to change a channel though, I think there's an easier way ;-)

VMR 9 exclusive issue

Soved it!!!!

In direct show filter settings/VMR 9 settings, just un-check "Use VMR 9 exclusive".

Does anyone knows why this fixed the problem? Thanks!

What video card you are using? Sounds like a some non-DirectX9 compatible.

It's a nVidia 6100, on board a Gigabyte motherboard. I'm using nVidia Purevideo decoder.

It is a big issue with performance to un-check the VMR 9 exclusive?

    Thanks
