I appoligize for any stupidity here as I am new and a wee bit overwhelmed. I have setup my OnAir GT USB ATSC tuner and can watch and timeshift tv just fine. The EPG setup is wonderful and works like a charm. However, no matter what I do I can not record on any channel in any manner. Manual recording full screen or minimized, EPG recording, record now etc. No files are created. I am attempting to record HD OTA ATSC. When I am in full screen and press R, it shows a message stating it is recording. I have chosen manual stop and current programme and nothing is different and both do not really record.

The odd thing is it does show up in the TV server as a schedule. But nothing happens. Channels dont change, files are not created, it just bypasses the time of record like it doesnt exist. It shows on the EPG in red and in the TV server Scheduler. I only have one tuner can can view other atsc tv channels than the one to be recorded.

I have attempted to record several channels (CW,PBS,CBS,ABC and NBC) all to no luck. I really dont know what to do here.

I have attached log files incase someone can make sense of those.

I have Retail delivered software from Autumwave OnAir that works great recording but I like the whole experience of MP.

Any other information any one needs I will provide to help.

    Thanks

It seems you're writing your files to a drive E:\timeshift? One of your 250GB HDDs? Do you have your recording setup in the TV-Server config as you need? Are you writing .ts or .mpg files? There was one poster who said installing SP3 helped because there was a .dll that needed updating -- but you know as I that there are lots of folks posting. Personally, I'm on SP3. There is a setting to cancel LiveTV when a scheduled recording is to run - got that selected correctly? I use SchedulesDirect, but that may not be important here.

    Hello

I found the ATSC thread and found my answer there. I tried a search but did not work well enough for me. I apologize for updating this thread.

FIXED: It was an issue with WebEPG. If it is enabled in my system in the MediaPortal-Config, it will not record. It will act like it is but in reality do nothing. Disabling the "scheduling" WebEPG plugin works great. I even did get the new WebEPG as outlined in another thread but that did not work.

Right now, I use a Task Scheduled .bat file to run WebEPG.exe to get the EPG information from IMDB. It works like a charm now for a week.

Thank you for taking the time to look though. :sorry:
