i was trying to test the Pinnacle 7010iX, there i noticed that the TVE 3 service is unable to scan or tune to DVB-T channels.
i also crosschecked with the analog part of the pinnacle (is working), FloppyDTV (is also working), HVR-4000[DVB-T] (is working) and the Twinhan alpha (is not working). The Twinhan alpha shows the same behavior as the 7010iX. If i take the channels from the HVR-4000, mapping them to the 7010iX (unmap HVR-4000 of cause) and try to preview them in SetupTV.exe i get the error message "unknown error".
if i try to scan for channels on the Twinhan alpha, SetupTV just tries to tune the first freq., does nothing more and TV Service gets 100% load of one CPU core.
I tried the alpha box with the programm from Twinhan - it finds and tunes channels.
summary:
- DVB-T on Pinnacle 7010iX - not working
- DVB-T on Twinhan alpha - not working
- DVB-T on HVR-4000 - working
