Hello!

As the topic says when i search for channels in MP config i find them and have picture/sound just fine. But in MP the screen is just black! At some point of the installation it worked but its a fresh install (the whole system) so somewhere along the way it stoped working. Everything is up to date with the latest drivers/firmware. Please help!

Thanks!

Edit: Watching movies is working like a charm every video i have is working fine.

Sorry about that mate! But you are right on the spot. I also noticed that the MP meny gets really laggy when i try watching TV. Whats really bothering me is that it worked at one point all i did after that was enabling my hauppauge remote but i have tried disabling even uninstalling the driver and still cant get it to work again.

Oh and heres the log :)

I just had somewhat of a breakthrough i now can watch TV. It was the timeshift option that screwed everything up (enabled timeshift automatically) Now i can watch tv in fullscreen perfectly but when i have the MP meny showing (and the tv in a preview window) the menu lags and obviously i cant use the timeshift option.

That's down to the GA33 graphics, just not enough oomph where directx is concerned.

Try using simpleMP as a skin and see if better.

Edit: Could it have something to do with the dir itself? Maybe MP isn't allowed to create a file there but i know I'm logged in as admin and i have tried several different directories! Bah! :(

    Hi,
anpe, have you installed all updates on windows update?
reason for asking is: mpeg2:FAILED to add Videoanalyzer (You need at least Windows XP SP1!!) from your log

    Regards
    Roy

Hi Roy! Yes my system is up to date, Could it be that I'm running Windows home server (windows 2003 server)? If so can i install this "Videoanalyzer" by hand? Installed WinTV that came with my happauge card and in there everything time shift and recording works.
