I don't know anything about MP's "TV Server", but I do use DVB-T and DVB-T2 to receive TV and radio in the UK. Looking at your symptoms, I would ask this: Are you 110% sure that you are receiving radio channels from the DVB-T2 MUXes? If you are not receiving radio from the DVB-T2 MUXes, the problem is likely to be that TV Server is scanning the wrong frequencies. TV Server can scan the entire spectrum, but its default action is to scan only those frequencies defined in an XML file (this is much quicker). If that file specifies the wrong frequencies, TV Server will scan the wrong frequencies, and not find any channels on those frequencies. To check if your radio channels are in fact coming from the DVB-T MUXes (and not DVB-T2): (1) Start "TV Server Configuration". (2) Click "Radio Channels" in the left side menu. (3) In the list, click one of the main radio channels for your region. (4) Click the "Edit" button below the list. (5) On the panel that appears, scroll to the right to view the last column. This is the frequency of the MUX that contains that channel. Is this a DVB-T frequency, or a DVB-T2 frequency? (6) If it is a DVB-T frequency, check several other radio channels to see if you can find one that has a DVB-T2 frequency. (7) If all radio channels have DVB-T frequencies, your problem is probably incorrect data in the XML file. The XML file can be found in: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbt\ and there are four files for Israel: "All Regions", "Central", "North", and "South". The "All Regions" file defines two MUXes, but the others define only one MUX each. None of them specify either of the two DVB-T2 frequencies that you mentioned in your post. So modify the relevant file to add the missing entries for the two DVB-T2 MUXes and rescan using TV Server. Note: this is MP 1.18; I don't know whether MP 1.19 has the missing frequencies. Once you have found the correct frequencies, you might like to submit your updated XML file for inclusion in the next release of MP. -- from CyberSimian in the UK
