Hi all..
I have a very strange problem.
I have decided to setup a new server based on Windows Home Server. I know it works because i have done it before.
The reason i am re-doing it, is because i need to install on a bigger hard drive.
Anyway, my problem is that i can no longer import my tvguide.xml file. Keeps on saying that it has imported 12 channels but 0 programs.
If i boot up off my old hard drive it all works fine.
What gets me, is that they are both running WHS with the exact same updates and software and versions of TVServer, and both using MSSQL Server Express.
The only difference is the DVB-T cards i am using. On the old hard drive, i was using Avermedia A16A cards.
On the new server, i am now using Hauppauge Nova-T Dual DVB-T cards. These cards only come with WinMCE drivers, but they install fine and watching/recording TV is possible, but no guide data... just woill not import.
I have re-formated my new drive about 6 times now to no avail.
My question is, is it possible for the cards to be causing this problem ? it is the only difference in the two installations..
cheers
