cannot Install 1 PVR150 and 1 PVR150MCE in MP (1 Viewer)

My two cards are install in Windows
Device Manager :
- Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II (25xxx)
- Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II (26xxx)

MP configuration detect and install the PVR150 card
name Hauppauge PVR150 in Capture cards window

When I want to add the PVR150MCE, I have only the choice between :

- Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture (General S/W encoding card)
- Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture (General H/W encoding card)

I try H/W encoding card, but it doesnt work (no image, no sound).

I know it doesnt help but the 150MCE should show up as Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture (PVR-150MCE)

i would uninstall drivers for both, then install again, making sure you install the MCE drivers as well as the regular 150 drivers.

I have the 150MCE and i was able to install regular 150 drivers for it and it didnt complain (radio didnt work tho...)

I understood that for both card different generations of drivers existed, with some combinations working and others don't. I'm quite sorry, but am unable to give you a link (read it somewhere a substantial time ago)
However, your problem is probably related to the combination of the drivers, not MP or each individual driver.
Maybe elconejito can state which drivers he's using, or try the various HTPC hardware forums.

Thanks for your concerned.

I took the time to make more tests

- uninstall all Hauppauge things
- remove hauppauge cards
- install only the pvr150MCE lp

finally after many install and uninstall it's work fine with wintv2000

But still th same pb in MP (only General x/W encoding card)

By choosing H/W encoding, I can see and change channels in MP

Now I add my standard pvr150.

I can add it in mp!

I map channels on 2 cards.

But now no image (colourfull noise) same in wintv2000 :?

Only external channels works (standard pv150 + irblaster)

I disable pvr150 and all is right

I disable pvr150mce and enable pvr150 same as 2 cards enable.

What can I do to make these 2 cards work together ? :roll:

With your new CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file all is right now.
