Hello,

I started to have issues with AVI playback once I installed RAID5 with 3TB partition (using HighPoint RocketRaid 2220) - MP does not play AVI files from this partition. Used to have RAID0 with 2TB and everything worked fine.

XP (SP2) sees the partition and works with it just fine (had to do special RAID setup so 32 bit OS recognizes partition > 2TB), WMP and Nero Player both play the files, but MP tries to play it and then just gets back to the file list. Playing the files from 500Gb drive works just fine from MP.

MKV files (even if I take AVI and wrap it up in MKV container) play with no problems from any partition. Video codecs tried are: Elecard, DScaler and MPV ...

I assume something is related to the fact that I try to play the files from RAID partition > 2TB... Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
